Web-based ClassroomThe MA in Ministry Leadership degree is for individuals in ministry without formal theological education living in any geographical location. It is a full time, three-year, 56-credit-hour degree program in which the learning environment consists of virtual communities with face-to-face gatherings twice a year in Portland, Oregon. The face-to-face gatherings meet for eight days each (from Wednesday to Wednesday) in October and February. Summer courses are online.

- Begin with a two-day on-site Threshold event that ushers students into their cohort community, the dynamics of the Ministry Leadership learning environment, and the systems needed for success in the program.

This degree is designed for:
- Church staff for large or medium churches whether paid or volunteer
- Emerging church leaders and church planters
- Small and midsize church pastors who can't relocate for seminary training
- Parachurch leaders, mission leaders, or outside-the-box social service leaders
